(Curator & Artist) Bridge Base to Ethereum

VaultX only uses Base ETH


Some cryptocurrency exchanges do not support the Base network.


Transferring Base ETH to such exchanges may result in permanent loss or a lengthy recovery process (e.g., Ubit in South Korea).

The Base ETH received from VaultX artwork sales must be bridged to regular ETH before being transferred to the cryptocurrency exchange you use.


How to Bridge Base to Ethereum

  1. Coinbase Wallet

  • Open your Coinbase account and click "Swap".
  • Select the Base network and enter the amount of ETH you want send.
  • Select Ethereum Network and ETH (From ETH On Base → To ETH On Ethereum)
  • Click "Continue" and Preview the transaction.
  • Click "Swap"
  • You now have ETH in your wallet!


  1. Metamask Wallet


  • Connect your MetaMask wallet
  • Click "Bridge" to get started


If payment for the artwork is not visible in your wallet, check the network in the top left corner of your wallet.


  • The payment for the artwork is Base ETH. You need to select the Base network in your MetaMask wallet to view the received funds.
  • Select Base and Select the Ethereum network (From this network: Base → To this network: Ethereum)
  • Select the token ETH you want to bridge and enter the amount you want to send (You send: ETH → You receive: ETH)
  • Select “Submit transaction” to confirm your bridge transaction in your MetaMask wallet.
  • You’ll be able to keep track of your transfer with the “Bridging in progress” bar and view your assets on the new chain.
