What is a crypto wallet?
A crypto wallet is a digital tool that allows users to store and transact with cryptocurrencies.
On most blockchain platforms, all activities, from signing in to transactions, are conducted through the wallet.
What crypto wallets can I use?
There are three main wallets for VaultX: Metamask, Coinbase wallet and Social login wallet.
Digital asset deposits and withdrawals through personal wallets are only possible with the personal wallets supported by the exchange. Check the exchange you are using before setting up a wallet. (ex. Upbit, a Korean digital asset exchange, only supports Metamask.)
How to set up a crypto wallet?
The setup methods are similar for Metamaks and Coinbase wallets.
Visit the Website:
Metamask: https://metamask.io/download/
Coinbase: https://www.coinbase.com/en/wallet/downloads
Click on the "Download" button and choose your browser(Chrome, Firefox, Brave, etc.)
VaultX is optimized for PCs, so installing the wallet on your PC is recommended.
For browser installation, click "Add to Chrome" (or the relevant option for your browser) and then confirm the installation.
Open the extension, click "Get Started," and select "Create a Wallet."
Create a secure password and follow the prompts to back up your seed phrase.
Once you've backed up your seed phrase, your wallet will be ready to use.
Password: for everyday access, Seed phrase: for recovery your wallet or funds on a PC
